If partial or total plagiarism is detected, the manuscript is not sent for evaluation and the author will be notified with the rejection reason. Once approved by this committee, the document will be sent for double-blind, external peer review. In the review form, reviewers must declare that they have no conflict of interest with the evaluation.

Results of the review will be announced through a letter of acceptance, acceptance with changes, or rejection, which will be sent to the authors by e-mail. If the manuscript is accepted and changes are requested, the author will have two weeks to work on them. Once these changes are reviewed, the author will be informed about the final approval and publishing dates. During reviewing the review period, Perífrasis may contact the authors.

The Editorial Board will determine, based on the result of the peer review, whether a manuscript will be published or not, as well as which articles can be published in future issues. The Editorial Board reserves the right to decide on copyediting when it deems it necessary.

As soon as an issue of the journal is released, the editor has the responsibility to make it available to authors, the institutions with whom exchange agreements have been established, as well as national and international indexation systems, repositories, and databases.
